Clarisonic Mia 2 Cleared up my acne-prone skin!
Been using this device for a little over 3 weeks, and I am so amazed at this product! Didn't think this would do wonders for my skin, but it does!
My skin is prone to breakouts, so I've used TONS of products to keep them at bay. I used a cleanser, a toner, a topical treatment devoted for acne prone skin, and I was STILL getting breakouts here and there. Now that I am using the Clarisonic, all I use is a basic cleanser, (Bliss's Fabulous Foaming Face Wash), using the sensitive brush head in the morning, and at night the deep pore brush head, and they work so well together! Now I am just using products to keep my oily skin, and enlarged pores at bay and my breakouts diminished from little to none! To emphasize my point, I went from using products devoted for just acne, and I was still getting breakouts, to now using the Clarisonic, and I don't breakout anymore.

Just be aware that you "may" breakout from using the Clarisonic for the first time. This is normal. However, you may not breakout. From what I learned from reading reviews on Sephora, everyone's skin is different. What may work for me, may not work for others. So, you may not breakout from using the Clarisonic, but I did, kept using the device for 3 weeks straight, and people noticed how much my skin has improved. I can finally look in the mirror and say my skin looks great!

Clarisonic Mia 2 Home Facial Made Easy.
Wow, I really like this product. I like getting facials, but they are few and far between, usually when I'm looking at some special event. I use the Mia2 every couple of days in the shower and it works great. The unit charges the way an electric toothbrush charges, so there are no bare connections on the unit. It's made to take into the shower. The brush unit is replaceable, so if you use it frequently you don't need to worry about the brush wearing out. It leaves your skin very smooth ... and you don't have to leave home for your facial! I plan on giving this as a gift to my daughters.

I bought this for my wife as a Christmas present based on the suggestion of one of my sisters'. I was afraid that she would think I thought she had bad skin or something similar (which she doesn't). That was not the case, she was so excited for this device and told me that she wanted one forever but didn't want to spend the money. Fast forward to now (a mere 3-4 weeks later) and if the one she got for Christmas broke, she would immediately order another one, that is how much she loves this. Guys if you are trying to find a present for your girlfriend, mom, wife, etc... buy this device. Great quality and amazing results!

I actually received the Clarisonic Mia 2 this past Christmas. I had read reviews of them on QVC, but I thought the price was a bit steep. I just threw out there I would want one for Christmas, and, lucky me, I got one. The packaging is nice and contains quite a bit of information. There is a little booklet like thing inside the packaging that tells you about the different brush heads, and what each one does. Instructions for cleaning the brush heads and handle is there too. Also, when you purchase this particular color it helps support Look Good...Feel Better, which is for cancer patients. My kit came with a 1 oz bottle of Philosophy Purity Made Simple cleanser, but I don't know if that particular brand is standard or just what I got. It also came with 2 different brush heads, one sensitive and one deep pore.

I really like the pLink charger. It is magnetic, so it just sticks to the bottom of the handle. There is a light around the handle that flashes until the Mia 2 is charged, and then it is just a solid light. You have to charge after about 24 uses. The speed is also indicated by the light on the handle. I believe the top light is normal speed and the bottom light is slightly slower. There is a button to change the speed by the power button. The 1 minute T-Timer is very useful. You do 20 seconds on your forehead, it then buzzes to let you know to switch to your nose/chin for 20 seconds. The third buzz signals to do your first cheek for 10 seconds, and the final buzz is for your other cheek. When you use the Mia 2 you can hit the power button and it will pause for 30 seconds. The only thing I dislike about this is you have to count to do 10 seconds on your nose and 10 on your chin. When I'm finished I just shake the water off a little and put it in the travel case until it dries. After that the case gets closed and it gets put in the medicine cabinet.

I started off using the sensitive brush head but decided to switch to the deep pore one because I have large pores. Both brushes worked wonders, but I think the deep pore brush has made my pores a little less visible. My face is ridiculously soft and smooth. I still have break outs, but I'm pretty sure that is because I have been using some generic makeup. I had a lot of blackheads and both brushes helped remove them completely. I started off using the Philosophy that came in my kit, but I switched to my Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Scrub. You can use basically any cleanser with the Clarisonic. Within 3-4 days I could tell a big difference in my skin.

So, to end a rather long review, this thing is definitely worth the money. The amount of makeup this thing takes off my face is incredible. I have never used anything that has made my face so smooth either. Other than the beep I feel would help, and there not being a holder because it is a travel Clarisonic, there is nothing wrong with this product. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants better skin.

After years of glancing at the pricey Clarisonic products at the spa, I finally treat myself to what might be the most expensive washcloth ever produced.

The Clarisonic Mia2 has oversized packaging complete with skin elasticity curve charts that explain little and before and after images of fluorescent makeup removed via Clarisonic or manual cleansing. Instructions indicate two speeds for a timed cleansing cycle of 60 seconds with three zones: forehead for 20 seconds, nose/chin for 20 seconds, then each cheek for 10 seconds. Now skeptical, I suspect even a washcloth if used for a full minute can improve results. Who has a minute?

Then I tried it. Then my fifteen-year old daughter tried it.

Worth every cent

At first I thought $200 for a face brush??? But so many people kept telling me how wonderful it was...and what really sold me on taking a chance was the idea that it would help my psoriasis. Not only did it do exactly that, it removed a deep pocket pore that kept producing a large blackhead.

My doctor said that the only thing he could do for that pore was to lance it and remove the pore that was creating blocked up cells; that medicines would not work as it had to get deep into the pore.

I believe the brush opens (like the sonic tooth brush) the pores, cleaning it thoroughly, and allowing creams to really work themselves in.

I can understand why some people may be unimpressed; I too wasn't too excited at first because all it seemed to do was vibrate. But upon viewing a video, I watched as I shut the brush off...and sure enough, the brush was moving so quick, the only way the eye can see that it IS moving is when it stops.

Part of my daily beauty routine

I first saw Clarisonic on Oprah's favorite things and I said to my husband "I want one of those for Christmas!" but it is not available for purchase where I live so I quickly put it to the back of my mind. Then last week, I was in Florida and was on my way out of Dillards when there it was on a shelf for purchase. I saw the price tag of $199 and felt a little sick but then the sales lady came over - don't they always! - and demonstrated to me on her face how it works. I got really excited because I love taking care of my skin. It's one of my simple pleasures in life at 36 years old.

I've been using it for a little over a week now, twice daily, morning and evening, and I love it! It's easy to use and you just know it's working because your skin will glow and your face will feel clean but not tight. I must stress the importance of using a gentle cleanser though or I can't promise that your skin will look its best, no matter what you do. I use Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser. If in doubt of what constitutes as a gentle cleanser, get to know Paula Begoun and her famous book "Don't go to the cosmetics counter without me".

The best part I've noticed is that the little pimples, lumps and bumps under the surface of my skin in the chin area are virtually gone! I used to pay $90+ per month on a facial to get that same result. I feel confident that with regular use you will have beautiful skin too!

Not Just for the Face!!

first, i love what this has done for my face in the three weeks that i've used it. almost instant results....visible results. i have combo skin that is patchy and dry around my cheeks and mouth, oily in the t-zone, oily AND acne-prone around my chin. after three weeks (night use only) it's all evened out to one texture. my pores are a lot less noticeable and my skin just looks healthier.

that's not the only benefit, though. in order to justify the price, i had to find other uses for it. i love to use the "normal" brush head on my knees, elbows and the backs of my legs. i got my husband his own brush head to use on his back, neck and shoulders where he tends to break out. please don't hesitate to use this on acne-prone skin. i know you're not supposed to scrub acne, but this does not scrub, it's a very gentle cleanse that's going to remove some of the impacted dirt and oil that causes break outs.

with regular use, this skin care brush does what it says it will do. it's going to make everything else you use on your skin work ten times better.

Because of the high price tag, I was a little hesitant to buy this, but with the 60-day money back guarantee, I figured I wouldn't lose anything by trying.
After about three to four days, I was happy to see that my large t-zone pores looked smaller and the texture of my skin felt noticably smoother. I've been using the sensitive brush only over my t-zone area since I have combination skin and have heard stories about how the brush isn't made for dry skin. So far, the brush has been great and done what it claims to do.
The only downside is the time needed to use the product for at least a minute both day and night.

Do yourself a favor

I have had acne since I was 11 years old. I'm 32 now and in the past year it's gotten pretty bad. Plus, now I'm fighting the battle against wrinkles too. This is no fun! I started getting facials and bought the Clarisonic brush after my aesthetician used it on me. I cringed at the price, but I figured if it helps, then it's worth it.

Here's my routine: I remove my makeup if there's any there, then wet my face and the brush and smooth on an exfoliating scrub (sometimes St. Ives, sometimes the expensive stuff) and go to town with the brush, rinse, pat dry, and at night I apply Retin-A.

I have not had a new pimple in a long time. The bumps under my skin are gone and the dark red marks that the pimples left behind have faded to the point where I am willing to leave the house without makeup. I haven't done that in YEARS. The fine lines that were starting have disappeared. I get carded every time I go out with friends now.
